If you are looking for acoustic music to complement your special event, I can play solo or organize an ensemble for you.  With a variety of instrumentation available, we can discuss options to determine the one that best suits your taste and needs.

Repertoire:

Over the years, I have acquired a wide array of music in varying styles and my library continues to grow.  Here is a partial list of repertoire that can be played during your event.  *Not all pieces are suitable for all types of ensembles.  Please inquire if you have specific music selections in mind.  If a requested piece is not in my library, or if the piece is not in the standard repertoire, an arrangement may be made with an additional fee.

Pricing and Policy:

Live Music:          $300/1 musician; $225/each additional musician
Applies to events up to 2 hours.  For additional time, add $50/musician/0.5 hour.

Travel/Parking:          $0 and up/musician
A travel fee is based on the location of an event.

Overtime:         $50/musician/0.5 hour

Overtime is possible depending on musicians’ availability.  Payment is due at the time of requested overtime unless otherwise stated in the contract.

“A Touch of Classical”  wedding sampler CD:          $5/disk

Music Transcriptions/Arrangements:          $100/song or piece
Special arrangements of requested music that is not otherwise available.

Payment:
A 50% deposit of the total amount (not transferable nor refundable) must be received before any musicians are booked and a date and time can be reserved.  The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to an event.   Written notification of any cancellations must be received at least 30 days prior to the event, otherwise Client is responsible for all applicable fees by the due date.  A late fee of $25 will be charged if the final payment is not received by the due date.  A $25 fee applies to any returned checks in addition to any bank fees.  There are no refunds, thank you for understanding.

Playing Conditions:
Please ensure sufficient lighting, ample playing space out of walkways and stable, armless chairs upon musicians’ arrival.  If adequate lighting cannot be provided, please notify us prior to the date of the event. Musicians generally take 10-15 minute breaks between sets, although variations in set lengths may be discussed prior to the start of an event.
Outdoors: We will do our best to compromise, however, due to the delicate nature of our instruments, it must ultimately be the musicians’ decision whether or not it is suitable to play outdoors. Musicians need to be situated in complete shade.  In any event of unsuitable weather (rain, heavy mist, windy conditions, temperatures too high or too low, etc.), musicians are to be relocated indoors.
